Because San Francisco isn't near an ocean or anything like that, we have this latest innovation from the City By The Bay:
The founders of Lava Mae, which launched late last week, aim to provide direct relief--and dignity--to the homeless, providing showers installed inside converted municipal buses that will travel around the city. The project, funded by the left-wing Tides Foundation, launched June 28 and features innovative plumbing and design that taps into city fire hydrants and sophisticated internal partitions to preserve users' privacy.
Yep, buses that go where no shower has gone before. If it was anyone other than the TIDES Foundation, all kinds of Lefties would be making rumbling noises about how this implies that the homeless are a bunch of unwashed gits who can't even manage a bath without help.
Hope they have some nuclear grade disinfectant on board.
