Sharia Law finally dead in Ontario

Proof, yes indeed, proof Ladies and Gentlemen that even a blind pig finds the odd acorn.

The Ontario government will introduce legislation this fall banning all faith-based arbitration, including Sharia.

Premier Dalton McGuinty and Attorney General Michael Bryant agreed in a meeting this week it was time to resolve the contentious issue.

"I've come to the conclusion that the debate has gone on long enough," McGuinty said yesterday. "There will be no sharia law in Ontario. There will be no religious arbitration in Ontario. There will be one law for all Ontarians."

Huzzah!  It took Liberal Dallton "Wonder Boy" McGuinty sticking his finger up in the air and feeling the sulpherous blast coming from the public to finally drive a stake through the heart of that NDP proposal.

I note that most of the heat in that blast came from Muslim women's rights groups, who came to Canada to get away from all that Sharia crap.  I can just hear them, "If we'd wanted to put up with that we could have stayed home".

Now, lest anyone think that Dalton is standing on some kind of principle here, let me assure you its not the case.  Liberals are all about the implementation of radical Leftist lunacy, EXCEPT when the raising of the wetted finger tells them the breezes are blowing against them.  The NDP are the true pink-to-the-core Lefties who can be depended upon to ride their ideology down in flames, Bob Rae's band of happy idiots being the primary example.  The Liberals are a little more flexible.  Or put another way, they have the spine of a paramecium.  Rubber all the way, baby.

The Spinefull Phantom
