Burger King ice cream foolishness in Britian

You've no doubt heard about this.  The Burger King ice cream label that looks like the word Allah in Arabic.  Stupid concept, but naturally Burger King management are grabbing the ankles in their best pencil neck fashion.  Craven it it, to be sure.

Wouldn't it be nice if the CEO of Burger King released a statement that said "DON'T BUY THE FUCKING ICE CREAM THEN!"  It is Britain though, they probably have to by law or something.  Can't annoy the mullahs, don't y' know.

I wouldn't mention it (because its just friggin' idiotic liberalism through and through) except there are those who are equating this bit of nonsense with the Flight 93 Memorial (Red) "Crescent of Embrace".

See, the deal is that its ok for fill-in-tiny-minority-group-here agitators to raise all manner of hell over slights that are 100% imagined, but let a Conservative (or any American for that matter) say "Hey, wait a second..." over any deliberate outrage of the Left, and that's Just So Wrong.  Freepers in particular are singled out for ridicule.

Tolerance, good manners and above all fairness are quite thin on the ground among our brothers of the Left it seems.  Shame, that's what it is.

The Phantom.
