Typical Democrat

Sydney Blumenthal in Der Speigle  today, behaving like a typical Democrat.  By which I mean typical pit viper, poisonous and opportunistic.

In 2001, FEMA warned that a hurricane striking New Orleans was one of the three most likely disasters in the U.S. But the Bush administration cut New Orleans flood control funding by 44 percent to pay for the Iraq war.

That's pretty low even for a DemocRat, but not unexpected.  Sidney's serpent belly must be in a wheel rut today.  Somebody smack this... person.

Truth is, the whole levy system of New Orleans was built from the outset to withstand up to Category Three storms only.  It was never meant to handle a cat five, and it was finished a hell of a long time before either Bill Clinton or George Bush came to power.  Plus Sydney conveniently leaves out the small fact that both he and Billy Bob had EIGHT G.D. YEARS to fix this thing, and never said word one about it.

So if you want to be rulled by lying, cheating, thieving SCUM with less moral starch in them than a limp shirt, vote DemocRat.  Or in Canada, Liberal.
