I remember where I was, what I was doing, when in happened.
I never saw the vid of the people cheering until years later, but there was celebration amongst some, that I saw with my own eyes. This alone is a problem, and festers to this day. Other problems have spun off the 'death to america' americans problem. The lying media, for one.
Ah well.
I was sitting in a library, reading old editions of Foreign Affairs.
That must have tested your composure. For me the celebrations were confined to the internet, that was bad enough. Kind of like when the Queen died and some couldn't wait to cheer.
I was in the USA, in Minnesota. It was one of those things where the world feels different after it happens.
Been a lot of that lately. Lying media problem again.
