Snowden confirms, NSA records -everything-.

Love him or hate him, Snowden has done us all a big favor.

Ordinary Internet users, American and non-American alike, far outnumber legally targeted foreigners in the communications intercepted by the National Security Agency from U.S. digital networks, according to a four-month investigation by The Washington Post.

Nine of 10 account holders found in a large cache of intercepted conversations, which former NSA contractor Edward Snowden provided in full to The Post, were not the intended surveillance targets but were caught in a net the agency had cast for somebody else.

This article reveals how pervasive the searching is and particularly the sheer volume of stored conversations being kept by the NSA. This isn't the  "raw" take either, this is the post analysis storage of stuff the NSA wants to keep around forever.

The raw intercept take I think we can safely assume is the entire global internet. As in, your cat pictures are backed-up at the NSA. Girls, your suggestive selfies that you though only your boyfriend could see are circulating among the male and probably the lesbo employees at the NSA. For sure.

Men are men, you know that's what they're doing. Don't even pretend they aren't.

The latest NSA mass spying revelations (which come as no surprise to those of us who realize there is little difference between the way soviets and Washington act) have other implications. For many sharper observers it now makes sense why the GOP opposition (and even Rand Paul) have been so docile in the face of a criminal regime so deserving of impeachment and indictments. It appears the NSA has been spying on Reps and senators and has all the dirt on them…which Obama uses to silence opposition and stave off impeachment a-la-J Edgar Hoover/Kennedy style extortion.

What a lurid criminal morass the US has turned into under this POTUS and his criminal Chicago machine.
