Another reason why rats, fleas etc. are bad things.

Bubonic plague. Or in this case the really, REALLY bad version, pneumonic plague.

Do yourself a favor, don't look up "Bubonic Plague images".
Fleas are known to transmit this.

A Colorado man is infected with the rarest and most fatal form of plague, an airborne version that can be spread through coughing and sneezing.
It is the first case of pneumonic plague seen in the state since 2004, said Jennifer House, a spokeswoman for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The man, who hasn't been identified, may have been exposed in Adams County near Denver, health officials said in a statement. While House said the man has been hospitalized and treated, she wouldn't release other details about his situation.
"He's on treatment long enough to not be transmissible," House said in a telephone interview. He may have contracted the illness from his dog, she said, which died suddenly and has also been found to carry the disease.

Least disgusting flea picture I could find.

I'll take this opportunity to remind all of y'all that bubonic/pneumonic plague is endemic in the desert rodent population of Colorado/Arizona/Nevada/New Mexico. Not to mention Mexico and South America generally. Up around the Grand Canyon they have several cases every year.

This is the same bacillus that de-populated Europe.

Imagine if some of this shit got loose in a "processing facility" for illegals who already have lice, fleas, TB, and lots of contact with desert rodentia. It wouldn't take much to kill 100,000 people, even today with our antibiotics.

Least disgusting lice picture I could find.

Its a question of logistics. Can the US government get enough resources applied fast enough to knock down an outbreak like that in a transient camp of women and children? Can they do it without stepping on their -----? How many times can they do it before they run short of something important?

Wouldn't it be smarter not to have camps full of lice infested illegals being shipped all over the country on public transit? Just sayin'.

Unless you wanted to use disease as a biological weapon against infidels and to depopulate America for your Muslim friends (who are too cowardly to face an armed population) to move in.

Just sayin'.

In totally unrelated news, as Kate at SDA pointed out today, Obama's approval rating with Muslims is 72 percent.

Again... just sayin'.

Holy shit you're delusional

I'm delusional that Bubonic plague is endemic in Southwest rodents? Look it up.

I'm delusional people crossing the border catch fleas and lice from sleeping in the desert? Look it up.

I'm delusional that the US government isn't checking people for fleas, lice, tuberculosis, AIDS, and a bunch of other shit in their processing facilities? They're not checking. Look it up.

I'm delusional that packing people together in a too-small space spreads fleas and lice? Sure I am. Look it up.

Taking people crossing the border illegally, packing them together like sardines for a couple of weeks and then shipping them all over the continental USA on public transit, without proper healthcare screenings, is a moral outrage against the immigrants and a recipe for disaster for the USA.

Do you know what antibiotic treats bubonic plague? Do you think that shit grows on trees? But -I'm- delusional. Yep. Uh huh.
