Collect stuff, get busted by FBI.

The USA is officially a police state. Its over boys, you're done. No more free country for you. Nice dream, but its gone.

Check it:

FBI agents Wednesday removed "thousands" of cultural artifacts, including American Indian items, from the private collection of a 91-year-old Rush County man who had acquired them over the past eight decades.

An FBI command vehicle and several tents were spotted at the property in rural Waldron, about 35 miles southeast of Indianapolis.

However, the FBI was careful not to say whether they believed the man, Don Miller, had knowingly broken any laws. The FBI's aim is to catalog the artifacts and return them to their countries of origin.

Get that? Mr. Don Miller has not been charged with any crimes. They just confiscated all his stuff on general principle, because he -might- have broken a regulation someplace.

The aim of the FBI's efforts is to determine what each artifact is, where it came from and how Miller obtained it, Jones said, to determine whether some of the items might be illegal to possess privately.

Jones acknowledged that Miller might have acquired some of the items before the passage of U.S. laws or treaties prohibited their sale or purchase.

Following the law is no protection any more. Retroactive crime is now "a thing", as the kids say. They raided this guy like a friggin' crack-house in Detroit, and they have nothing to charge him with.

My guess is, some professional grievance-monger or petty official somewhere got wind of this collection, decided they wanted a piece and threw the big FBI machine into gear. Grandad might have something somebody important wants for -their- collection.

One small detail though, given the complete absence of a chargeable offense this whole thing is utterly illegal. They don't have the power to do it. They don't even have sufficient grounds for a search warrant. According to the US constitution, they should ALL be in jail.

And yet, they are not. So my conclusion is the Constitution is now dead, Americans have no rights, and you're all one minor apparatchik having a bad day away from getting SWATed and tossed in jail.

My American friends, I want to officially welcome you to life in Soviet Canuckistan. Your property is not your own, and you better not defend yourself against an attack. Just shut up, keep your head down and hope nobody important notices your daughter.

Oh, and very important safety tip, don't look the cops in the eye. They'll hit you.

You left out one important aspect.

He's 91 years old. They know DAMNED well it's futile for him to fight it in court, because he'll be looooong dead before a decision is ever made.

And you can bet someone took that into account before ordering the raid.

Yeah, that's what made me suspect an Indian Industry professional grievance monger. The usual government prick would just wait until the guy died, then swoop in and steal the family inheritance.

Grievance mongers need a head to mount on their wall.

To really disgust you, let's pretend for a moment that Don Miller was a medium-important dude in the local DemocRat party apparat. Would he be getting raided?

Pays to have friends, right?
