Yeah, that's the kind of thing these twerps are coming around to. Today an idea, tomorrow a tactic.
It isn't like these blogs and whatnot are actually "anonymous" anyway. Matching IPs with names is easy enough when you're Google, right?
Why don't I put my real name on this blog? Because the world is filled with vengeful assholes, is why. And really, Canada is a very small place when you get right down to it.
There were some very real examples of harassment in the link, (Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, what's with the psycho taking her pants off - was she a drunken frat tranny?) but then I get to this:
One panelist, Chris Gerrib, then began to talk about how people misunderstood history. The “Indian” people in Central America were already busy “killing each other” by the time the Spaniards arrived. When I asked for clarification, Gerrib confirmed that he believed that the Spaniards were “unfairly blamed” for the genocide of the indigenous cultures in Central America. I was so horrified by his continued talk of this ahistorical point that, after very little conversation, I asked that we change topic.
Now, without hearing the specifics of what the panelist was saying, it's hard to judge - but if the person complaining is trying to suggest that natives WEREN'T killing each other (like, you know, every group of humans everywhere in the world have been doing pretty much for as long as we existed), then he's a moron. Human sacrifice - sometimes on a very large scale - was commonplace in pre-European Central and Southern American history, and the sacrifices were often prisoners of war.
He then goes on to be 'horrified' that they used the word Indian instead of Native American.
It was interesting, though, reading about leftists colliding over 'race is just a social construct!'. Sadly, I didn't have popcorn at the ready.
What bothered me is the accusation of sexual harassment getting made on-line by some fricking guy whose story is 100% unverified, and these socialist hairballs are running with it like it was God's Own Truth.
Like they never heard the phrase "presumption of innocence."
Nope, they want to burn a witch. Any witch will do.

No sewer left unplumbed.

Hi Alyric,
