Sandy Hook commission grinds its way to inevitable conclusion: ban guns.

Whenever there's Something Bad that happens, the state and the local governments always form a commission or a panel of inquiry to "look into the matter" and "see what can be done" to prevent the next Bad Thing. Such panels inevitably find that the existing government policy is correct, except it didn't go far enough, so they always propose a new regulation or tax or law or some other newer, bigger, better restriction of the freedoms enjoyed by regular citizens.

Because people are stupid. They have to be controlled.

Well, wouldn't you know that there was just such a commission formed after the Sandy Hook public school shooting. And they announced their report today.

HARTFORD, Conn. – A Connecticut government commission created after the Sandy Hook school massacre will be proposing a "gun ban."

The Morning Journal reports:

An advisory panel charged with looking at public safety in the wake of the deadly Newtown school shooting agreed Friday to include in its final report a recommendation to ban the sale and possession of any gun that can fire more than 10 rounds without reloading.

"Whether or not this law would stand the test of constitutionality is not for this commission to decide," says former Hartford Police Chief Bernard Sullivan, a member of the panel.

"The commission has expressed very strongly that this is a statement that is needed regarding the lethality of weapons."

The group wants to emphasize that there "needs to be more regulation of guns that can inflict mass casualties, even if it causes some inconvenience to recreational shooters."

Obviously. Because its easy, and accepted by their bosses, and will obviously be accepted by the media. That such a thing is 100% unconstitutional in the USA is "not for this commission to decide". Which was pretty awesome coming from a cop who swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States when he got hired to that job.

That it will make no difference if it becomes law is unimportant. That it will 99% likely fail to even become law is unimportant. That it wouldn't have saved a single child at Sandy Hook had it been law at the time... is unimportant.

What's important is that some government guys got paid to sit around and waste a bunch of time and resources generating one more bullshit report that nobody will ever read, and then went on TV to say how much they care.

That's what modern government is and what it does, in a nutshell. Repeat this hundreds of thousands of times per year, it gives you some indication of what goes on all over Western Civilization.

All I'm saying is, couldn't we all get by with a bit less of this? Couldn't we fire at least half of these assholes and not even notice they were gone?

I think we could.

  1. It's being called "Sandy Hook line and sinker" by intel insiders. The media will never admit how badly they were gamed (or involved).

One event researcher has filed a lawsuit against the media for perpetuating this mass shooting hoax hoping in discovery the facts will out, however that will be hard to do from a jail cell as he appears to have been arrested on questionable charges after he filed the suit - the intrigue continues in a string of media theatrical "crisis" events.

  2. I've deleted you here before, but this time I'm going to tell you really loud: Sandy Hook was a shooting, not a hoax.

Kids died. Fuck you for pretending differently just to stoke your own insane conspiracy bullshit. I'd punch you in the face if this wasn't the internet.

    Now fuck off.

  3. I don’t know Phantom – AFAIC the critically thinking people’s jury is out on Sandy hook – after we’ve seen what this criminal administration will do to further an agenda – like breeding a race war to secure a Dem street army, or fast and furious – selling guns to drug lords, killing border agents, then attempting to frame legit gun dealers who were forced by ATF to sell the guns - all to discredit the second amendment. They would have got away with it too because the lapdog media regurgitated JD news releases and was uninterested in investigating the story – until a whistle blower showed up to collapse Holders hoax. Any government who will stage psy-ops like fast and furious, stoke race wars and persecute its opposition with IRS/DHS/NSA is certainly capable of staging a mock crisis for media benefit to rid themselves of the second amendment and make dubious suspicion of mental disorder a reason for warrantless incarceration and gun confiscation (they are already doing this to Vets).

I have watched the one video the anon poster has there (We need to talk about sandy hook) it is pure fact and raises enough suspicion to discount the official story as false. But it is not alt media truther who have convinced me, it is the government’s actions – they chose secrecy instead of allowing investigators to disprove the hoax theory. The government in an unprecedented/unconstitutional move acted to conceal all official info from Sandy hook , AND ALL POLICE INVESTIGATIONS in Conn. Police now decide who they release info to, do you see something wrong with this picture?

Secrecy Phantom, tyrannies are built on government/police secrecy. I urge you to watch the video presentation of the SHES media coverage (We Need To Talk About Sandy Hook) make up your own mind, but there is some convincing fact on the ground to question the official line.

  4. Wow. Talk about your tinfoil hat material. That there were people who believe Sandy Hook was a hoax hadn't even landed on my radar.

Some days, the internet makes me sad.

In regards to the first video Anonymous linked to (the 'child abuse' one): The presenters have fallen into a standard logical fallacy. It's entirely possible that the family are lying, attention-seeking sociopaths; that doesn't prove that there was no shooting.

As for the second video... well, I only made it about five minutes in before I gave up. A lot of overreaching in regards to the way a few people acted in the aftermath, mixed with a healthy dose of 'what motive could he have?'.

For the first, pro-tip: At least 10% of the population are sociopaths, and that's probably a low estimate. They cannot empathize, and will not display the emotional reactions you might expect from the majority of the population. A disproportionate number will find their way in front of the cameras - never let a crisis go to waste, and all that. Once again, it's fallacious to use that as proof that there was no shooting.

As to the second, well... as Chris Rock once said - whatever happened to crazy? (Also: Did they eliminate crazy from the dictionary?) We tend to prefer things wrapped up with a nice little explanation - something that makes sense. But there is evil in the world, and there is crazy in the world, and there is chaos in the world - and God willing, we will never be able to make sense of it all. That isn't proof of a conspiracy; it's just the way of the world. The lack of an explanation doesn't mean there's a hidden one.

My final point would be to reference Occam's Razor. (The simplest explanation, and all that). The biggest proof that there was no hoax or conspiracy is directly on display here: the vast amount of people they're claiming are all 'in' on it. Parents, teachers, police, neighbors, the coroner, etc., etc.

Have you ever tried to keep a secret with a friend before? How about two friends? Three? Ten? How well did that work?

Now imagine trying to keep a high level covert-ops style secret with four or five hundred civilians - any one of whom could make a mint by running to a publisher with the tell-all.

If you can imagine that being successful, I've got some great deals on a wide variety of bridges.

  5. "Secrecy Phantom, tyrannies are built on government/police secrecy."

Occam, please. You've heard of Fast & Furious and Gunwalker, right?

There's your proof that shit like what you're suggesting can't be kept secret. This is the same crap the 9/11 Troofers have been spewing since 2001 before the fucking smoke even cleared. The ability to do a Sandy Hook op and keep it secret does not exist in the US government. Particularly since the Special Ops fraternity are major un-friends with the Commander In Chief.

Any fool can make a video. Fools often do. Example, google Erich Von Daniken. He's been dining out on the UFO conspiracy crap since the Sixties.
