    The other question, is if this stuff can be stiffened with a rosin + heat treatment process.
    If it works, it would be perfect for 3d printing. Things like knives...

  4. Can it be made economically into a durable, flexible, waterproof membrane? Or semi-rigid lightweight sheet with the same properties? If so, my palms itch to think of the possibilities.

    Still quite energy intensive to make though. 1MW per tonne?

  5. The article mentions using it as a flexible display, so yes. Better than mylar, eh? Laminate to glass for better bomb-proofing, there's something right there.

    Energy inputs, I don't know. However the place that makes it is in Montreal, so you can probably phone them up and ask. Awesome eh? :)
