With many U.S. newspapers struggling to survive, a Democratic senator on Tuesday introduced a bill to help them by allowing newspaper companies to restructure as nonprofits with a variety of tax breaks."This may not be the optimal choice for some major newspapers or corporate media chains but it should be an option for many newspapers that are struggling to stay afloat," said Senator Benjamin Cardin.
Remember that name, folks. Senator Benjamin Cardin. He's the point guy on the job of saving the Dem friendly propaganda mills. Keep him in mind for next election.

I'd pay close attention to the final wording of the bill, perhaps putting in some restrictionary clauses to ensure that no "unfair" newspapers can make the switch.

You know, the OPP can't even use that tech to find grow ops? Its true. Inadmissible in court, can't even use it to figure out which houses to watch. Or which houses to check electricity usage either.
