Were you wondering why so many people didn't get evacuated?


Here's why:
Busses up to their hubs in water instead of on the road full of Superdome dwellers.

Guy to blame? Apart from the Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana, the specific clown in charge is the Director of Emergency Management, Mr. Andrew Brown.

Cat. 4 hurricane hitting a city that's 8 feet below seal level and 27 feet below river level, protected by levys designed to only take a Cat. 3 storm, and Mr. Brown didn't manage to get these busses moving. Meanwhile the Mayor is raging on at George Bush. Ass covering? Hmmmm.....
